S3DA will host their 12th annual S3DA 3D National Championship on June 14th – 16th, 2024. Students will have the opportunity to compete against S3DA members from across the United States for the title of “National Champion” in their division. Shoot-downs will take place for each class in the youth and young adult divisions. There will be an on-site grand prize raffle with lots of archery equipment from various archery businesses and sponsoring organizations! There will be other special activities available to students and parents on-site for a nominal fee. Those activities include:

• The Heath McDonald – Long Shot Challenge

Vendors will be on-site to sell their products and equipment to families and students, as well as food vendors and more! 

Directions: From I-57 exit 77, go west on IL Route 154 for ¼ mile. Turn left onto Gun Creek Trail. Go south 3 miles to Marcum Branch Road. Turn right on Marcum Branch Road. Go 1.5 miles to park entrance.

Site Information: The Rend Lake Army Corps of Engineers and the Wayne Fitzgerrell State Park manage the 19,000-acre lake and provide the best in outdoor camping and recreational facilities.  There are more than 800 campsites ranging from primitive to full camper hookups.  Recreational facilities include a new archery complex, kayak trails, bike paths, two beaches, hunting and fishing, golf complex, and a lot more.  Benton and Sesser, S3DA event Host Cities, and other area communities offer a wide variety of restaurants, shops, festivals, and fun!  Lodging includes a variety of hotels, cabins, and privately-owned campgrounds. All within minutes of Rend Lake.
